A lot more to compare than scoring with rookie dmen. And even that can be misleading, depending on the minutes they play. And the teams they play on.

Way too soon. Impossible to tell if Lajoie is having a really hot start, or if he's the real deal. He's looking like the real deal, but stranger things have happened.

I’ll take Jokiharju biased as I may be. Playing top pairing minutes and not looking out of place, and not getting burned constantly.

I won’t be shocked if Lajoie ends up with more points though since it seems the Sens can actually set a powerplay up.

I’d also like to add Jokiharju played 24:04, most among Hawks defensemen.

Either way, both teams should be extremely happy. It’s got to be brutally frustrating for the teams who made picks before them. Jokiharju went 29th in 2017.

Lol, not my fault. NHL.com says Lajoie is 20 years old while also listing his birthday as November 5, 2017.

Obviously you take Jokiharju. Looking about as impressive despite being two years younger, and his superior production to Lajoie at the WHL level suggests he has the potential to be a much better offensive player.
