Wonder if the fact that a Finnish source is the first to report it suggests that Laine has decided to sign the QO and people in CBJ arent even aware of that yet

I don’t know about that. Johnny will make it look like a discount because laine will have all star caliber years next to him but on his own I don’t think he’s worth 8.75 per.

Well the QO is set in stone already. Its a matter if Laine accepts it or not. If that guy is Laine's friend, he could have said I am gonna accept the offer.

But in that case, I think the guy would have said Laine accepts his QO. But who know.
