Job is a flawed player but he’s still very useful. Jays need outfielders in a bad way. Shatkins should look to be in on this if the ask is low like the original deal. Getting Stripling as well would be helpful.

Interesting that it seems to be the Angels who pulled out of it.

Wonder what else they have cooking to have grown so impatient..

While we do not know which prospects would have been traded to the Dodgers, they should deem themselves lucky that this trade fell through. By trading for Betts the Dodgers gave up prospects (let's just call Verdugo that) for this year's WS contention.

Both Pederson and Stripling are projected to bring substantial WAR this year. The Dodgers will need just that for their ultimate goal; trading both away for prospects would have diminished the positive impact of acquiring Betts. If Stripling has another good year, his value might even go up.

I hate Arte. he cost the Angels a middle of the order bat because his feels got ruffled, get the f*** over it dude and do what's best for your god damn team. He's once again undercutting his GM, who in this case made a really good trade. Douchebag
