Someone needs to tell LAA that Cobb sucks.

Jones sucks and I really am not upset about losing him. We have much higher upside MIF prospects, and at the MLB level we have Fletcher, Barreto, Rengifo, and Iglesias blocking him. Don’t like acquiring Cobb though because we need someone better

Isn't Cobb's salary also rather high for what he is projected to bring? I am sure the Orioles throw some money in it, but still...

Dont see Cobb turning things around given his play in recent years and fact he is 33 yrs old at this point

He is near end of line as a ML pitcher IMO

Maybe I will be wrong but I wont be shocked to see Cobb finish with ERA near 5

Why? There’s guys as good or better than Cobb on the FA market that could be had without giving up more of LAA’s super weak farm.
