I feel like Steinberg might be wrong about that. Byron was centring the fourth line last game, and I don't see why we'd put Granlund in at centre. I thought he was playing wing in the AHL.

Really, we'll know more after practice today. If Stempniak is gone for the game tomorrow, we'll probably see a more major shakeup and Granlund in the top 9.

Kings have only scored 3 goals on us in two games against the Kings, so I think it's a pretty safe game to drop him into.

I thought Granlund played a bit of both centre and wing, but mostly wing.

But frankly, Granlund should be in the top 9 if the organization wants to see what he's capable of. Limited minutes on the fourth probably won't do all that much.

Looks like Granlund will be centering the fourth line between Byron and Wesgarth.

Granlund is set to start the game centering Paul Byron and Kevin Westgarth, a line that has been practicing together for two days. Hartley felt each player brings unique qualities that will provide the balance to the line.

"It's too bad that Grans doesn't start with an 'M' because we'd have the BMW line," Hartley chuckled. "Their speed, their size, their hockey sense ... it should be good. Pauly is eager to get back in the lineup also so it should be fun."

From Hartleys comments it sounds like Galiardi could be playing in Stempniak's position. Stempniak won't be back yet
