I don't think either of Lovejoy or Quincey are bad signings, but damn. Shero really seems to like signing defensemen that I always inexplicably hated.

That hit last night makes me like this signing much more.

Also made a simple, but nice bank pass to fwd up ice which I really liked.

I love this signing and how could you not? 1 year, 1.25M for a serviceable Dman is a steal any way you slice it....

At the very least he gives a younger less experienced player time to develop...best case scenario he provides solid top 4 minutes and helps his partner create a solid stable pairing....win/win/win it's an all around win.
