You would expect something massive given the moves by Florida, in particular, but also in Tampa and Boston.

Can't wait to see what this is and if it includes a player nobody thought would get traded who is currently on the NHL roster.

And they are now out of LTIR usage and can re-ctivate Muzzin before the playoffs .

Earl Schwartz had a different calculation than Mirtle on the 4+ mil.

Your Worst Nightmare
He was temporarily filling a role as the 13th forward.

I wonder if the Leafs want two forwards or if they just value the extra cap space for a bigger splash or two.

While I'm happy for the guy if another team wants to play him in the NHL. I'd be happy with him on the Marlies with the young guys. Seems like he'd be good in a development leadership role.

Don't want him back with the Leafs at this point in his career.

This happened sooner than I'd have expected it to. Let's see what the big picture reveals.

Clifford knew his role.

He gets $1 mil regardless for being a good sport

Precisely. Getting paid more than a corporate executive and you just chase a puck and drop the gloves every once in awhile.

It sure beats working in the mines. Though, I don't have anything against him and believe his presence can make a difference to a team lacking heavyweights.
