Should he fail, Ron would be condemned to remain in Buffalo until free agency for eternity. Aided by his greying mentor Albusander Ovechkin, Kuzy battles the forces of darkness, boredom and unemployment.

Chance Grubauer starts tonight. Game against the Rongos tomorrow with less than 17 hours in between. Holtby has always taken the first of the back to backs but given that Buffalo (should) be the easier game, it might make sense to save Holtby for tomorrow.

I think any and all animosity between the Caps/Sabres is gone. It was just a product of them playing back-to-backs last time, in my opinion.

Buffalo plays us well. We're probably looking forward to the Rangers tomorrow. Going to be a close one and wouldn't be surprised if we lost.

Sub out Sill for Beagle on that 4th line and that's a pretty good forward corps.

we will be so lucky if Bmac finds someone to take him, I just can't see anyone having much interest to take that production/contract.

on the other hand, if he stays it's not terrible, laich has been decent enough to contribute on PK at least.

Sill has been solid in the games I have seen. The guy is trying to prove he can be a good 4th liner and not just a guy who has to fight all the time. He's been great in Hershey too.

I guess I'm just still in disbelief. I just don't understand how Laich went from being a 20 goal scorer to a guy who looks like he really isn't even an NHL player anymore.

He use to have pretty good hands and great speed.

Watching him the last two games it almost looks like he is completely disinterested. Am I the only one seeing that?
