Robert Hagg got traded for a 6th. I don’t think Kulak is that much better. I would be surprised if Kulak goes for anything better than a 5th round pick.

The oilers need a needle moving type of deal to be relevant in the cup chase.

So the kulak move to me is pointless unless it's in conjunction with something much bigger.

Having said that, even though kulak isn't anything special, I do like watching him skate, so I'd kind of miss him in a way.

Given how many middle picks we have I'd rather resign him than move Kulak for a 5th. He's looked good under St Louis and could fetch more later on if he keeps his play up.

But then Hamonic and Dermott were traded for a 3rd. And Kulak is better than both of them.
