I dont see Kovi going back to Devils. He has his heart set on NYR but whether that works out will remain to be seen.

Do you really think he still has his heart set on the Rangers now that they are in announced blow-it-up-and-rebuild mode? He surely wanted to be with the Rangers because not only were they the biggest team in the biggest city but that he wanted to win a championship with the biggest team in the biggest city. Would he still have his heart set on coming over here to... spend his last few years toiling closer to the bottom half of the standing table rather than the top half? He wanted championship and profile. He thought he could get both with NYR. Unfortunately the championship ship has as much as sailed for the NYR for the remainder of Kovy’s playing career.
