Kotkaniemi is a pretty safe bet to be a top 6 center, and I think likely a #1 C. I think Patrick can possibly get there but I think he will develop slowly. Could be a high end #2C though.

This seems to be made off of the MTL - PHI trade that got locked.

As a PHI fan, I can say that it’s Kotkaniemi without much deliberation. Developmental paths are nonlinear so Patrick could end up being a much greater player. We don’t know. That’s also the exciting, yet nerve wracking, thing about young players.
