While watching warmups tonight I could tell you right away Darling wasn’t into it. He literally skated in circles with his head down the whole warm up, stayed in the net for a few seconds for a couple shots then left the pregame skate like 10 minutes early. If you can’t stop a puck the last thing you should be doing is leaving the skate early!

Darling's wife with a couple of tweets this evening, which, for intents and purposes, stated she wished her husband was still wth the Blackhawks. This seems helpful.
I think this is just the start unfortunately. There's going to be a lot more turmoil before anything starts to get better, IMO.

But she should be somewhat thankful, as we're one of the few incompetent franchises who would give her brother a contract like the one we gave him.

He should be sent to Charlotte but there's like less than a 1% chance Francis has the balls to do that. And it's hard to blame him since neither of those goalies are ready to be NHL backups either.
Why is it about Francis having balls? Sending him to the minors is trying to put out a dumpster fire with a flamethrower. Obviously this asset is depreciating but right now this is our issue in the spotlight, humiliate him/us by sending him to the minors put the whole leagues spotlight on it. He's been in the minors long enough, he isn't going to get his confidence back there earning 4 million a season, and Francis isn't going to pay him 4 million to be there.

He has to play himself out of this hole from up here.

it's his sister under the serendipitous presumption that goalies are required to get 3+ goals of run support each time out based on the time darling spent in chicago
Hell, that doesn't even get him out of the 1st period most nights down here. And he has more support in front of him than he had in Chicago. Fact of the matter is, he sucks.

Idk if there's need to read anything too much into it. Obviously 4+ goals for the good guys would be a nice bumper, a bumper that a professional hockey goalie is not in place to demand for himself, but let her be responsible for her tweets and him be of his.

As for missing the Blackhawks, that can also be read as your normative downplayed regular purpose "welp" for which we @ F26 are no strangers to. Kind of mellow too because there are no suggestions of killing a named underachiever to improve the morale.

IDK what it says about Peters, but my younger brother had to throw him out of the Hibernian the night after the Canes **** the bed against Tampa to miss the playoffs in 2011. The entire team went there to drown their sorrows and he got all belligerent with the staff.

Hell I got pretty belligerent that evening too

Anyone remind her the Blackhawks have scored 9 total more goals than the Canes this year? That's like .19 more goals per game. We've given up 15 more goals, probably 23 of those with her brother in net. He's a net negative on this team. Dundon should buy him out. But who's [really] out there we could replace him with that will make a difference? Hutton? Kuemper?

Sending him down is not trying to humiliate him. It’s to let him play regularly/work through his horrendous technique and awful attitude without sinking this team even further than he already has. He’s making his money regardless of where he plays so his salary should mostly be an afterthought. I already acknowledged why it would take balls to do this (neither goalie down there is good enough either) and why I can understand he won’t do it.

Enough making excuses for Francis and Darling. These are grown men being paid very well to do their jobs, or in our case, not do their jobs.

it's his sister under the serendipitous presumption that goalies are required to get 3+ goals of run support each time out based on the time darling spent in chicago and such things happened with regularity. she needs to text him instead before her reactionary crap ends up being another problem scott has to manage.
Maybe Scott was texting her what to say while he was scowling away on the bench for the final 3/4 of the game
