I havnt watch much of dallas this year, but last year he was easily top 5, if not top 3. He was the big reason why dallas become a top team last year. His defense is among the best. But as many non hype d-men that produced alot of points he are put on a label off having bad defense.

He's never been that good defensively, but scares the **** out of you when he has the puck.

There are quite a few Dmen like him in today's NHL. It seems, somewhat naturally, that great skating players with excellent puck skills end up using them (duh) to score goals.

What is rare is getting a great skating Dman with good puck skills who is content to be more of a defender. They too, have value, but it's harder to quantify.

I mean despite his abysmal start he still has 10 points in 19 games. He will likely always be the solid offensive D. He just needs to calm down and try to go back to last year were he was more rounded than he is right now

Ghost has 10 points in 18 games and hes also getting flack.

Expectations are so unreasonable for young players.

There will be ups and downs.
