Quick start in the AHL or what? Anybody been able to see him play live this year? How has he looked?

He's simply an offensive phenom. His stick-handling can be compared to the likes of Kovalev and Mogilny.

Our best source for the Moose says that he perhaps was not taught the word back in Russia. In other words, he needs some serious work. But Canucks fans are optomistic that we could have an Andrei Markov on our hands in a couple of seasons.

As was said in the past Koltsov has the talent to play in the NHL right now. But coming from Russia he just wasn't ready for the physical side of the NHL. But he has the desire and has shown a good work ethic.

I followed him closely in the game on tv last night. He made this one sick stickhandling move around this baby leaf forward, that was truly awesome. The only thing he needs to do is bulk some, get a little stronger, and learn the North American game. If he does this, fans in Vancouver are in for a treat. With the way the PP is going it wouldn't hurt to bring up Koltsov and let him QB. :D
