FYI, IF, a big if, we're able to finish last, we still have a 55% chance of picking 3rd, and a 45% chance of picking 1st or 2nd, only a 25% chance of picking 1st.

You cant really watch this and honestly says this guy is good lol. He is playing a bottom level team and Im not sure he got 1 shot on net. Hasnt been generating anything with the puck on his stick, there is no pace to his game and his compete is pretty low. Come on guys. He is not even playing like a top 10 pick at this point.

Sudbury with over 30% shooting percentage tonight. Lots of poor d-zone play by Kingston.

I wasn’t impressed by the (small) sample at the Worlds and I’m not tonight.
Guys who have followed him all season on this board would be better suited to comment.
I know he was a good 15-16 year old, but is he really, this season, the legitimate number one of the draft?

I could see him being a sort of Toews. He’s got the abilities and the leadership qualities apparently (captain at 17 is something).

But we will need more than a wannabe Toews.

I really wish he went to Europe last season. The world juniors and two OHL games of his I’ve watched this season I haven’t been impressed. U18’s he impressed me though

Scout had concern about Toews skating abilities in his draft year. He had a weak WJC I think too in his draft year.

Bergeron was a 2nd round pick.

Not saying Wright will turn out as good as them ( and yes, we could definitely use a Toews on this team), but two-way player might not look as special as offensive specialist at 17-18 years old.

Trnava, Slovakia
Kingstons best players didn’t show up tonight, simple as that. Chromiak, Wright and Wisdom were terrible. Ludwinski I just don’t see high end ability in. I’ve seen him be ranked in the first round and early second but he’s just not a consistent driver of play even against weaker comp as teams have to strategize for Wrights line.
