I can give a recap.

As quoted from his autobiography

"I always hated playing in Los Angeles. Some of the worst times I had as a player happened there".

Brendan Shannahan.

I can't ever remember a player being suspended for a variable amount of time. I wonder how the suspension would go if the player Torres injured was Datsyuk or Broduer.

Just as I said on the main boards.

Most hitters like to hit. They want to make the highlight reel hit that sends their opponent flying and makes the think twice about receiving a puck with said player on the ice. Torres has every opportunity to do this. He lines Stoll up, takes 6 strides and avoids the big hit. Instead he makes a drive by with the intent to hit Stoll high. I can't say a head hit was his intention, but all things considered this seems pretty obvious.
