I Thought Carter might need a couple of stiches, but a Febuary return means he has a major injury. This sucks!

Yep i missed the surgery. For the last 4 years the Kings have had a hard time scoring goals, so when you trade a scorer like Cammaleri i start to panic. I hated watching the last few seasons.

Both guys averaged more time in heir first game with their new team than with their old one. 1 game, but, still.

Better fits in both cases, so the ice time increases make sense

No such thing as a mutually beneficial trade on HF.

Kings signed MC in the hopes that he would be a low risk, low cap hit option in the top six next to Kopi and Brown. The Kings found that in an even cheaper, higher upside better all around 23 year old.

Once Iafallo emerged the writing was on the wall. Jokinen will be better in the current role and is also someone capable of playing with Kempe in a 3rd line scoring role once Carter returns. Cammalleri is someone who may be able to catch on with one of the Oilers playmakers and provide some much needed goal-scoring.
