Great News ! I was lobbying for the Kings to sign him since he was invited. I think he will be a great pick up and will surprise many.

"The 19-year-old Sharipzyanov (born Feb. 17, 1996) is a 6-2, 203-pound native of Nizhnekamsk, Russia who appeared in 66 regular-season games last season with Owen Sound (OHL) where he registered 34 points (9-25=34), a plus-13 rating and 59 penalty minutes. In five postseason games he posted three points (1-2=3), a plus-1 rating and six penalty minutes.

Sharipzyanov has appeared in 133 regular-season games in two seasons with Owen Sound totaling 50 points (14-36=50), a plus-15 rating and 124 penalty minutes. In 10 career postseason games he has registered four points (1-3=4) and six penalty minutes."

Rosen says he's injured and won't attend rookie camp. Handing him an ELC this early probably speaks to how highly the Kings think of this kid.

He had the highest +- on his team this year on a team that has Bigras and Schemitsch, Floridas 3rd round pick from this year. And last year literally every player was - but Eye chart was +3. Played limited minutes and showed great offensive instinct and is solid defensively. I really like this signing. Adds to our riches of quality prospects on the backend.

Tough area to heal. A break is twelve weeks in a cut plus rehab.
Sprains can take weeks.

Immobilization is a must.
