Oh and I'm gonna go against the grain and vote C Nick Shore. LW Michael Mersch and LW Nikolai Prokhorkin are both quality players as well at this slot, but I like Shore's game and C ability. Very close between those 3 though, IMO. Window appears to be closing on Kozun, and he does not seem any closer to NHL now as he did 2 seasons ago after a solid rookie season in AHL. May also be waiver eligible (I believe he is). Add RW Hudson Fasching

Write in who should be added next.

I am 100% sold on MaxyK and Andy Andy becoming solid NHLer's but Nick Shore is the better prospect.

Shore should have gone in front of Forbort and so should have Gravel imo.

Martin Jones getting no love. Pretty sure he ends up as our backup next season when Scrivens walks during UFA.

No they don't. There's still quite a few quality prospects left.

Still a ton left, this is also where it starts getting really interesting to me. Most of us are going to have drastically different rankings for the rest of this list. Theres pretty much a case to be made for anybody thats on this poll right now.

Yep. I had Kitsyn at 10 but looks like he'll win this one. Prokhorkin should have won this but like you said, we're at a point where people's lists break apart from others.

Except Prohkorkin outproduced Kitsyn in both the KHL and VHL this past season...

And Prokhorkin played games in our system in the AHL and looked great. I'm sorry but the argument of playing vs men or being closest to NHL ready is something I just 100% think is wrong to judge prospects solely on.

Agreed. First 4-5 are usually fairly standard, with people have 1-2 spots difference. Here it starts to open up.

Even 10 is generous, IMO. Kitsyn has shown nothing since a solid but unspectacular half season in OHL. Since then he has bounced around Russia not ever finding a spot. He is the benefit of recent hype with him coming across the Atlantic, IMO. Jury is still out on whether he is a legitimate prospect or not. We'll see in the next 2 seasons here in NA. He would be around 13-15 for me.
