Question. I've come to one creative solution regarding Voynov new contract but I'm not sure if it is allowed under this agreement.

Let say Voynov and Lombardi agree on multi-years contract in the zone of 4 - 5mio on average. But the problem is comming season cap that will be at the lowest point. I think we can all agree next year it will be higher.

So is is possible that Voynov sign two contract right now?

First is 1 year for 1mio and second is for example 7 years 30mio (4,5mio AVV) that is announced after free agency start and will start in 2014/15 season.

In eyes of Voynov he signed 8 years contract for 31mio, Kings on other hand have more space for this year cap problem.

For sure numbers can be different but i'm questioning about logic behind that.
