My guess for the first round:

West:

CSKA - Sochi 4-1
SKA - Torpedo 3-4
Dynamo Moscow - Lokomotiv 4-3
Jokerit - Dynamo Minsk 4-2


East:

AkBars - Avtomobilist 4-2
Sibir - Traktor 4-0
MMG - Salavat 3-4
Avangard - Barys 4-2

Edit: Game 1 of the 2015 KHL playoffs starts tomorrow at 19:30 Moscow Time, 17:30 CET. So, it's rien ne va plus after that time

I will sum up the results of the predictions after the first round. Fingers crossed. Let the games begin!

1st round predictions results:

We have exactly 3 all correct predictions of series winners

Jaco, Urbanskog and Esko Seppänen from Viasat I guess.

And we have a winner! Urbanskog just 4 games/wins away from a perfect prediction and a perfect prediction for the Western Conference. Congrats!

Jaco and the Viasat guy with 5 wrongs.

Everybody else, including me, myself and I couldn't guess all teams to advance correctly.

Fun fact. only 2 ppl guessed the Avangard-Barys series correctly: Arlus and Antti Mäkinen from Viasat.

This is exciting. KHL playoffs come in good time. The hockey season actually starts when fans want it (september) and isn't played for too long in the hot summer when nobody is as interested anymore. Timing is perfect.

Not really. It's not based on bias but on the bad performance by SKA lately and they will miss Panarin dearly. While Torpedo won't have any pressure on them playing against the "powerhouse". They really can pull this off.
