Wow, blast from the past. He was really successful during the dead puck, clutch & grab era of NHL.
Where'd we get him from?
HC of Tri-City Americans.
Honestly, exactly what I thought of lolEverybody from Montreal, and mostly Sud-Ouest will think of this when they see that name...

Nah seriously, good hiring as far as some experience for a guy in his 1st year at head coach in the AHL. And it's probably not over.
Yeah, he was better at starting 'em than finishing 'em, that's for sureHopefully he won’t teach anyone how to fight. Lol. Similar pro record to Kostopoulos.
Oh God, another nepotism hire? Used to be VP of Oilers player development and ex-teammate of Berge, Richardson, Mellanby and Burke. His WHL team also had garbage stats.
Hope I'm wrong.

Oh for sure, once you name a coach it's his show. It's only fair, since he's the one that will be taking the blame in the end anyway.I'm all for letting Houle pick his own guys, that's how it should be imo.

Of course they all played with one another at some point in their career... except Houle...
