How early in the draft did Dahlin go for any of you that are in a long term keeper league?

In my league he's league minimum cap hit thru 2020. Also, can put him in one of 5 farm spots until he's ready which wouldn't take a roster spot.

    I have picks 1-4, 1-11, 1-12 this year.

EDIT: I should have added... this is a 14 team, 10 keeper league which obviously elevates his draft position due to 140 players already being "kept".

Dahlin went 1 OA in my dynasty league entry draft. Had pick #1 gone to Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh would still have drafted Svechnikov. The newest GM took Dahlin or there was an outside chance he would have fallen to 6th OA in our draft. Dmen don't hold the same value given the salary component and our scoring system of G, A, PPP, SHP, PIMs, Hits and Blocks for skaters in a weekly H2H format.

I traded up for picks 4 & 5 and my list was Zadina, Tkachuk and Wahlstrom in that order - once Dahlin was taken I knew I'd be getting 2/3 of them no matter what (Pittsburgh is my brother, we discussed the 1st round of the draft in detail).

    Draft Order:

    Round 1:
    1. Mobtown Hooligans - D - Rasmus Dahlin
    2. Pittsburgh Penguins - F - Andrei Svechnikov
    3. Eisbaren Berlin - F - Filip Zadina
    4. St Louis (via Boston) - F - Brady Tkachuk
    5. St. Louis (via Dynamo) - F - Oliver Wahlstrom
    6. Ottawa Senators - F - Jesperi Kotkaniemi
    7. Vancouver Canucks - D - Quinn Hughes
    8. Mighty Ducks (via Boston from St Louis) - F - Vitali Kravtsov
    9. Ilves Tampere - D - Adam Boqvist
    10. Anaheim Ducks - F - Grigori Denisenko

    Round 2:

    11. Vancouver Canucks (VIA Pittsburgh) - F - Joel Farabee
    12. Eisbaren Berlin - F - Martin Kaut
    13. Mobtown Hooligans - F - Barrett Hayton
    14. Pittsburgh Penguins (VIA Boston) - D - Evan Bouchard
    15. St. Louis (via Dynamo) - F - Dominik Bokk
    16. Ottawa Senators - D - Noah Dobson
    17. Pittsburgh Penguins (VIA Vancouver) - F - Serron Noel
    18. Anaheim Ducks (via St Louis) - F - Joe Veleno
    19. Dynamo Moscow (VIA Ilves) - D - Rasmus Sandin
    20. Anaheim Ducks - F - Ty Dellandrea

If you're interested, here's a link to the full entry draft list for my league - I'd be happy to shed potential insight in a PM.

Tonight, he went 1st OA in my keeper league, my league is not a salary cap league, its head to head and we have a rule where you have to start at least one rookie.

Pick 1. He's an Offensive D. With league minimum salary for 3 years.
