Justin make me proud
Hello all,
I am in a points only cap league where we get to keep 12 players (20 man roster is 100M budget). Here are my players: Fox, Krug, Makar, Andersen, Markstrom, Fiala, Vrana, MacKinnon, Pastrnak, Ehlers, Guentzel. With those guys, I have plus the cap hits of Malkin/Stone (9.5M), I have 37M left for 8 players for an average of 4.6M per player. I won my league this year and I don't have a ton of picks at the draft which is why I'm favoring all the cap space I can get to get more expensive players that will fall at the draft.
I am currently leaning on keeping Stone right now for a few reasons: the younger player of the two, I don't like how the PIT roster is built on the backend and I still have Guentzel to make up for the loss if Malkin ends up pulling through this year. I understand it's a risky move and that just by looking at the numbers, Malkin outproduced Stone big time last season.
What should I do?
