Unfortunately this is what I expect. Since reading about the time Melnyk confronted Karlsson in the dressing room over an Uber charge and Karlsson in turn walking out of the room in disgust and refusing to speak to him its been tough to be optimistic.

The list of incidents since is just ridiculous. There isn't another owner in the league that meddles to the degree that Melnyk does. If only he was still spending his time drunk in Barbados, pinching pennies instead of actively trying to run the organization into the ground..

I'm really starting to miss those days.
