I disagree. Foppa was a great player, battled injuries, and played behind Sakic.

That he is compared to other greats doesn’t mean he should always lose the polls.

Personally, there have been many a poll where he was truly a toss up in my mind.
Some, like this one, he is a clear favourite.
Some, I would rate the other choice first.

Lindros and Sundin ones really stick to me.
The same people making the exact polar opposite arguments in those polls.
Longevity versus impact and peak performance.

Kane's 15/16 is easily better than any Forsberg season.

Kane has the best season between them, better (and more) top 10 pt finishes, way better goal finishes (Forsberg never scored more than 30), better hart finishes and a better playoff resume (extra cup and smythe).

He didn't play behind Sakic. Forberg drew the hardest defensive units away from Sakic's lines, this has Sakic himself admitted.

Remove Lemieux and Jagr and Forsberg still never comes close to that margin of victory. Lemieux and Jagr were actually non factors the year Forsberg won the ross. Nice excuse though.

They're forwards are they not? Production should be the primary thing they're based on, not like Kane's playstyle didn't help his team's succeed in the playoffs, he's one of the best playoff performers of this generation.
