Well if Caron is having back issues it would be smart to carry Florek on the West coast trip and let Caron rest whatever it is wrong with his back.
Nice thing at least about Providence-it is a quick drive up to Boston. Isn't the team leaving today? Makes me think Caron is pretty iffy.

The deal is, if the Bruins try to send Caron to the AHL, he'll have to go through waivers. No matter what people may think of him, if he's waived, he'll be claimed. Better to make a deal than to lose him for nothing.
And it's not Julien's call, it's Chiarelli's. Caron has been a healthy scratch or an injury fill-in for months; I don't see the so-called Julien love for him. If he "loved" Caron, the guy would be getting major ice time.
