*Lampi = 'pond', -kko = suffix, you can read like a diminuative form of pond. Lampi would be like a whatever pond, but when you have lammikko, you have something you could easily see a duck swimming on. Something smaller and cute. You can get drowned to a lampi, but it's hard to imagine you could succumb to lammikko. You can more easily use nets in a lampi than in lammikko if you're a fisherman. If you are a child, you will likely dirty your clothes at lammikko, rather than getting wet in lampi. The difference is small however. You can use either word interchangeably in Finnish, but their semantics differ slightly.

I call him a bully since we once played soccer in the same town but different teams. I was a goalie for my team and his team was having a break in that tournament, he and two others were behind the net and Lammikko was just harassing me vocally lol.

Indeed! You're right. Lammikko sounds more about puddle than pond, and that's meaning and nuance what it mostly hold in informal speech. If you put these words into an order of decreasing size and increasing muddiness, you get the List:
