Does he clear waivers?
Nice landing spot for Gordon. The guys after Lockett and Metcalf are Moore, Brown, and Turner. Likely it's Turner who ends up on losing his spot.
Its still a free draft pick, plus you get a flyer on a once dynamic player.Let's be realistic on the Compensatory pick. I don't think teams are going to be handing Josh Gordon over $10 million per in free agency.
We are likely talking at best a 5th to 7th round potential comp pick, depending on what your team does in the off season in terms of free agency. Could very well cancel out the comp pick for Gordon.

How did the Pats screw him? They basically resurrected his career. They paid for his rehab and bent over backwards for the guy to help him get his life together on and off the football fieldGood landing spot for Gordon. They have a good QB, team, and organization to help him on and off the field. Fortunately he didn't land with some crappy organization after the Pats kinda screwed him.
Is it the way N.E. let him go? Having to go through waivers thus N.E. hoping a non playoff teams takes him thus no chance of having to face him? Versus outright cutting him making him a free agent to choose him own landing spot? How did the Pats screw him? They basically resurrected his career. Yes, that was definitely the reason they held onto him the extra week. But I would hardly call that screwing the guy. They bent over backwards to try to accommodate him.Is it the way N.E. let him go?
