McDavid and Draisaitl at 99% retention (Columbus receives special permission from the NHL for this)

Can we not do this again? There’s an Anderson thread once a week and they’re all the same. They don’t want to move him, they want an overpayment, and nobody is willing to give it.

Was not aware.

Don't see them trading him during probably his roughest year as a pro. Unless they get a offer they can't refuse by vito corleone or lou lamorello . Anything is possible though.

Not your fault. :) He makes sense as a target for a lot of people. The asking price (from CBJ fans) is completely prohibitive at this point.

And in every single thread you're whining about how Columbus doesn't want to do you a favor.

Some small team could use him. If the team is a legit contender they should give up a prospect and good pick.

The whining is laughable. Columbus fans are under no obligation to discuss Anderson's market value as the Jackets are under no pressure to sell him for that right now. If you want him on the cheap, you just have to hope that he doesn't find his form when healthy and uses arbitration or the threat of it to become a 2021 UFA, forcing the Jackets to deal him at the next deadline if they are not in playoff contention.

Wait until he wants out like Trouba.

No way he doesn't want a change of scenery with that production, it's costing him like 8 figures on a long term contract and players like him don't have the longest shelf life. Columbus may be his favorite city in the world but I don't see how he wouldn't want a fresh start on a different team seeing how much changes of scenery helped Strome, Fabbri, Nichushkin etc

a favour? Dude has four points and they see RNH straight across as fair value. Please, nobody do us any “favours” of this type.

Injured player struggles, should be moved to another team at a bargain so he can heal and be a contributor.

Nah if Draisaitl is coming to CBJ you probably need to add a 1st as well

Do not forget the part where opposing fans get outraged because CBJ fans prefer to write off this injury filled season, bringing him back next season healthier and likely productive again.

How dare they:mad:

Why don’t you want our list of expendable pieces so we can get the piece we want. You’re just being selfish and that guy sucks anyways.

CBJ Fans have made it quite clear that they don't want Anderson traded or will they think he will be traded.

Probably should stop with all the Anderson threads. Besides, they're in a playoff hunt right now..wouldn't make sense to give up on a Young PF

Fixed.

Unlike most CBJ followers, I’m not against trading Anderson if someone values him based on his prior two years play rather expecting us to sell low because of this year. But it will take a legit top 6 center to start the discussion.
That would be the "overpayment" being referred to elsewhere in this thread. ;)
