Growing up in Pittsburgh there may not be a song I've heard more in my life than We Are Family...and it still brings a smile to my face every time.

RIP.

Almost 40 years later and I still think about Willie Stargell, Dave Parker and the rest of that Pirates team whenever I hear that song. Man - I used to see some great games in Montreal between the Expos and Pirates.

Remember hearing it a lot when I was a small child - y'know, since it was high up on the charts back then. Still, always liked it, even if time caused me to occasionally forget it was Sister Sledge that did it and not the Pointer Sisters Can't blame me, the Pointers dominated the charts for a good chunk of my youth.
