Sure but even so that doesn't account for his better pace this year compared to last year.

Averaging less than a PPG is considered roaring back just shows how bad is career has been as far as points is concerned. And plus these stats don't count because his team is lousy. I mean the opposite view was always brought up when he put up lousy numbers but was on a winning team. So if Toews was given all the credit for his team's success he should be given all the blame for his teams failures.
