Didn't really say anything of importance.

He said Kadri might ask for Eberle money reasoning this was his first NHL season and he did well. But he added this would be a wishful thinking on Nazem's part. Also mentioned Naz might want to cash in since he could believe the Leafs held him back, down in the AHL, so had he been not held back he might have been an established player by now who could justify big bucks.

Kadri shouldn't be holding anything against the Leafs for past management treatment of him, although he has a case for not being able to prove himself earlier.

He should be very thankful to Nonis who sent $4.75 mil Connolly to the AHL to take his place on the Marlies and giving him his NHL spot instead otherwise he would have been a Marlie still.

I have never herd of a contract raise because of what could have happened. Nazi can say what he wants but the reality is he played 1 NHL season and even that season was shortened.

Bridge year @ $3.25-3.5m for 2-3yrs.

I thought his logic here was pretty faulty. He says that Franson is more likely to sign a bridge deal for cheaper than market than Kadri would, which I think is entirely backwards thinking. Kadri has a limited amount of NHL experience, and very little leverage. Franson has several years of NHL play under his belt, showed big improvement all last year, has a history with the club already of holding out, plays a position we have less depth in and is closer to UFA.
