Why? I think he'd be great. He's a guy who seems to be a 'greater than the sum of its parts' coach. That's perfect for our D. With Lavi, we need a #1 guy to be the go to. With Torts, I think he can implement a system that builds off of our strong defensive guys (Coburn, Schenn, Grossmann).

Yes, please. I liked him since his time with Tampa - he is an old school coach - not afraid to go nuts. I was hoping the Flyers replaced Stevens with him but instead we got Lavy.
