Up to his old tricks:

Spano, 50, of Madison, Ohio, was arrested Aug. 21 and pleaded not guilty to accusations that he forged dozens of contracts and pocketed the commissions over a two-year period while working as a medical supplies salesman for an Ohio-based company.

It goes on to say he stole somewhere between $7,500-$150,000 which seems like a ridiculously broad range..

Without Spano getting that deal with Sports Channel or MSG or whatever it was back then, odds are the isles no longer exist.

it really is unbelievable

i hate wang, but understand that he likely kept the isles in nyc when others wouldnt have--however, spano is even moreso responsible

hes a pos, but hes our pos! :)

For many people legal money is really boring compared to illegall money. No rush involved in legal.

Once a felon, always a felon. You have to admire the nerve of the guy. He billed sales that never existed to collect a commission check. Uh, yeah, you really think that fake sales are going to sneak by a high school educated bookkeeper.

What a ****** human being.
