Very hard to move someone at the TDL with term unless they're in their mid-20s or a bon fide star.
Much easier to do so in the summer of 2023 if he had a good season.
Same holds for Atkinson.

For this GM it is impossible to do anything. He trades Gostisbehere and includes high draft pick to sign Risto. If he(Fletcher) stays here for a few more years he will end up doing with Risto what he did with Gostisbehere.

Skills like his shot don't just disappear.

I’m not saying he will decline next season or whatever, but shooting is universally the first skill to decline. But we’re talking shooting as an NHL skill, not shooting in practice. He scores a lot in close, so he’s got that going for him.
