Joe Barnes

Hi all,

I was just curious about Joe Barnes, a big centre who plays for the Saskatoon Blades. I know he opted-out of last year's draft, but he's having a stellar season this year (got a hat-trick last night), so where might he go if/when a draft is held? Is the top 100 reasonable?

ya i would think somewhere around the 3rd round if he keeps producing

He seems to be kind of hot and cold this season. I'll be seeing him play tomorrow though, so I might be able to provide some more insight. He is fairly fast for a big guy, but he doesn't use his body at all. That's probably something that will hold him back. If he keeps up this production though I could see him going somewhere in the 3rd or 4th round.
