Eaton is better defender , is a better hitter and gets on base

Eaton can also play CF if required while Pederson is strictly a corner

White Sox lineup needs an Eaton type player more then it need another guy who when not hitting HR's is generally doing nothing

Joc's a good guy and can be pretty clutch. He gets cold when he's trying too hard for the long ball, but he's great defensively as well.
