Such wonderful, glorious memories. If you close your eyes, you can almost see the Flames and Edmonton Oilers in the heat of their rivalry, scrumming together in angry bunches, gloves on, faces being washed. It's enough to make a referee cry. Is that how you remember it, Jim? Are those the memories that light the corners of your mind?

I'm pretty sure the facewash is as old as the game itself, but Peplinski was one its prime practitioners. His old teammate, Tim Hunter wasn't too shabby either.
