Double, double,
Bury the Knights with a shovel;
Jets’ power plays burn as the Peg’s caldron bubbles.
Fillet their forwards with a Tuba named Jake,
The first-period-Knights’ guts will boil and bake;
Eye now, Buff brute; his toe drag don’t slog,
But Flower’s shyting the bed with the grace of a dog,
Karlsson horks in disgust,
And Marchy fakes muy beuno bling,
But Laine’s and Shuffles quick shots still sting,
For a charm of powerful Mo-driven trouble,
With Helle-broth boil and Farmleaguer's bubble.
Double, double with the clarity of Hubble;
Neal’s stomach burns with fear-monger’d trouble.
Cool the Knights' ardour with some home-town ice,
Then the charm becomes death-from-above nice.

Excellent as usual Zham. Huge Tolkien fan.

Expect the Knights to play a better and different game tonight. I was surprised at how little they forechecked in game 1. Getting out of the zone was a cakewalk compared to the Preds. I would think they would want to change that.

There were times Saturday where the Jets just dominated. Vegas will need to win low scoring games. They will get demolished in a run and gun type game.

Jets need to stay out of the box and I like their chances. They have the better forwards and D.

Starting to feel those Braxton Hicks clenches.

Must be getting closer to game-time.

GO JETS GO!

I spewed this idea in a thread, and I don't get a spot in the credits?

I've never gotten a credit spot ever, but I'll be happy if it's one of the games in the finals or if it's Monty Python and the Holy Grail GDT.

Otherwise, brilliant, the Hellebuyck one made me laugh.

Awesome GDT! Huge Tolkien nerd as well...

This is the first home game I am going to miss all playoffs (due to some fluke back injury)...hopefully I don't need to be there on Sunday :)
Curious to see how it looks/sounds on TV!

Here we go boys and gals!

If we play just like we did last time we have a good shot at winning. Skate hard, crisp passes, forecheck hard, apply lots of pressure to the puck carrier and backcheck them into oblivion.

Players - Wheeler, Laine and Myers.

Coach Maurice scrum topics: Does Patrik Laine need to score to feel good about his game? On how the youth have handled playing this many games in a season? What has he seen from Joel Armia’s game? When did he start to believe that this team could go on this type of a run? On picking up Laine if he makes a mistake along the wall. Has Mark Scheifele elevated his game and how has he done it? Any surprise in the style of game from game 1 and does he expect anything different tonight? What was his view of the James Neal hit on Tobias Enstrom?
