Too bad, no one but themselves to blame.

At least the tank train is still gaining steam.

As much as we dominated through the last few periods you just can't spot any team that kind of lead.

Really annoying game, but props to Talbot who stole that for them.

Jets and Oilers now tied for points. They're 1 point out of third in Pacific, Jets 8 points out of 5th in central.

Seems balanced.

Jets did what they could do, except what they needed to do - score. This team's problem has primarily been offence - even last season. No one wants to admit it, but that's that. Other teams find ways to score on our supposed top-notch goalies, but we can't take advantage of a goalie who is playing above his head?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EDIT: why did the thread name change!

one day this is how I will feel about the jets. As opposed to raging anger.

The good news is I can turn off this SportsNet stream.

Jets played great TBH but the inability to just get it in the net is a problem.

Talbot saved his team but still after 44 shots don't know if thats a valid excuse after some of those chances.

Not really easy to point fingers at this one... Hellebuyck wasn't there at all though but with 44 shots and only 1 goal (that was garbage luck) hard to blame goaltending again (would say that regardless of Pav, Hutch or Hellebuyck)

This. It's not like the Jets played a bad game, so I can't really be mad at them for the loss. Plus, less points for the Jets is better for us in the long haul. If Chevy won't make a move by his own volition, let the other team help him dictate what he should do.

I absolutely hate games like this, you not only play good enough to win but more then good enough to beat the other team by honestly 5 goals. This should have been a blow out.

We see the same crap over and over though, Stu scores on us....again, Ladd lazy on defensive zone coverage....again, then gets called on some phantom goalie interference. Shief gets called for diving wtf?

The Oilers didn't deserve to be with in 3 goals at all.

According to the homers at sportsnet, Jets are 7th in the nhl in goals for...

Well, only listened/saw the last 5 due to curling, but caught up on the highlights.

Can't be to upset with that loss. Talbot was their team by the looks of it. It happens.

Play like that tomorrow and they win 6-2

Bad bounce on that first goal. Really would've liked to see Helly do a better job moving laterally on the second and third, he looked slow.

Games like this scare me. Either dominate and win, or lose and lose hard. This looks so much like us going for the 12th pick.

Again we just suck on the power play. Chevy the hell with trading anyone just bring in a pp specialist and we would win 50% more games.
