4 Grads from 2017: Connor (1), Roslovic (2), Poolman (5), Tanev (23)
5 Dropped from the team: Foley (12), De Leo (16), Phillips (NR), Kostalek (NR), Stallard (NR)
3 New: Gustafsson (5), Smith (13), Vallati (19), [Moe, Chisholm, Wong - outside Top 20]
1 Added: Kerdiles (18), [Bourque - outside Top 20]

Biggest Jump: Appleton +16 (HM: Suess + 12)
Biggest Fall: Harkins -7 (HM: Comrie -6)

Only 3 2018 draft picks made the Top 20 - that ties with 2016 and 2012 for the fewest new picks to make the list in a year. All 3 of those drafts, the Jets had only 6 picks.

I do believe after this season, Jared Moe will jump right up many spots.

I don't think we should even be calling Comrie a prospect after next season.

Well done. I will copy this, and put it on my Jets Historical Top 20 thread.

I may be wrong, but I think the rule was once you become 25, you are no longer considered a prospect, unless the prospect attends a US College.

As for games played in the NHL, I think it is 25...

Gawanke sure is an interesting one. He should have a better year too.

I probably should have him 3rd, and Wong 2nd as I'm starting to really get interested in him for some reason.

Listed Bourque 2nd because for what we paid and I know the intent was to dump cap but you'd think he'd have been (Bourque that is) somewhere in our 25.

While our prospect list doesn't have the huge sure fire superstar names in it anymore that proves we've done a good job as an organization overall.

How many out and out misses not counting late round virtual crap shoot picks have we had.

2 or 3 in Jets 2.0

Jack Glover, Lukas Sutter, Jimmy Lodge.

I think what we will have though in a few years is some virtual unknowns making a pretty good name for themselves even if only at the AHL level, solid AHL'ers, not journeymen roster filler type.

And maybe a couple actually contributing in the NHL.

Moe, Gawanke, Wong, Suess, McKenzie come to mind.

No love for the "Holmies". Given the decent support for Evingson, maybe we should just go crazy and enshrine the Top 26.
