As we all know, we are stuck with Rogers announcers for the play-offs. Making matters worse, Romanuk is to the play by play (cannot stand him). The common problem to link live radio with TV is that the radio is alway a few seconds ahead. But recently I discovered that the online stream of 1290 is actually behind the live radio and thus the TV. So if you have a PVR, it shouldn't be too hard to sync it. I even found an online stream of 1290 -
TSN 1290 - Live Online Radio that enables you to pause the live radio stream making it simpler to sync it with a TV that has PVR capability. I tested that stream with the Hawks game and I was able to sync it pretty good. I then connected to a couple speakers and muted the TV audio and voiloa. No Rogers.
Just thought I pass this along if your desperate to avoid Sportsnet.
