lol that was good well done sir
Took me a second. Hilarious.
So our D is going to be Bogo, Hainsey, Clitsome, Stuart, Postma, and Meech? Ouch.
The paper was saying the Miettinen should be in the lineup because Peluso is out with a hand injury ( my guess is he got hurt hitting too many times in the face ) .
buff is out due to family matters
TSN 1290 is making it sound like Buff is just missing the practice and will for sure play the game. Mittens in for Peluso's broken hand and Wellwood in for Thorburn.
Of the 3 games the T Bay game is most important and we want 1 of the 2 games vs the Panthers.
Ward is out for a long time for the Hurricanes so that is great!
I see Slater as more of a faceoff specialist than a defensive specialist. Truthfully I think he would do better in a sheltered offensive leaning role than the tough defensive minutes that he normally gets. Welly and Tangradi are more useful in that role too. It will be interesting to see if they can get anything rolling.that will be an interesting fourth line assuming we stick with:
Ladd Little Wheeler
Kane Burmi Antro
Wright Jokinen Mittens
Tangradi Slater Wellwood
that has to be the most "indentity" lacking 4th line i've ever seen.
Big body winger who plays a small mans game, defencive specialist center, soft offensive utility winger
Not dissing it, just suprised- who knows, maybe it works. I actually like it when Joki tangradi and welwood were togthe i thouht they controlled the puck well in teh ozone just couldn't get rewarded

If I was Noel and had this line up... hmm...
Ladd Little Wheeler
Kane Burmi Antro
Wright Jokinen Mittens
Tangradi Slater Wellwood
Probably descend the matchups toughest on LLW to weakest on TSW...
For OZS I'd probably push the first two lines a tiny bit and push down the bottom two a tiny bit, not AV style pushing.

"Noel admitted weather could prove problematic in getting Byfuglien to Florida in time for tomorrow's game (6:30 p.m., TSNJets, TSN 1290).
"We'll see what happens," said Noel. "If he can't make it, (Derek) Meech will go in."
Jets winger Blake Wheeler took part in practice and said he was feeling fine."
Is Versteeg playing?
Could be trouble if he is.
I just don't get how he can rip us appart just about every game.
Anyone going to the games in Florida? Wish I had planned a vacation to Florida as this may be the last season where you can follow the team and watch 3 games in Florida.
My brother and a buddy left for Florida yesterday and are going to all 3 games. And it was unbelievable how cheap he was able to pick up tickets. Apparently with a cheap flight and some deal scouting on hotel rooms and a rental car they were able to do the trip (before beer and food) for not much more than a grand each. If I could of got away from work I would have loved to join them. The kicker is they are staying for next Sunday's Habs and Panthers game before they head home.
PS. Next season you may be able to do a 3 game Southern California trip taking in the Kings, Ducks and Sharks...now that would be a nice trip.
I think my first choice next year will be to see a game in Nashville.....looks like a fun building and town. Dallas will be a must for me as well. this year I am hoping to see a game in Boston and Montreal if the timing works.
