Now the same people who are mad that Chevy isn't trading a pile of draft picks for some new players are going to start complaining that Chevy is... adding a new player.

We could have claimed Jussi Jokinen last week and gotten a 50 point player AND prevented him for lighting us up when we played the Hurricanes.

But we had to save room for Mike Santorelli

this is exciting. he has to stay up with jets right? otherwise he'd go through waivers again? if that's the case I don't see the point.

I know you're kidding but would you want Jussi for 3 mil next year? I wouldn't.

i kinda thought the same as you. jussi is having a bad year, but his #'s are still better than santorelli. Plus santorelli is small so why would chevy want him? :amazed:

Well last week Antro wasn't hurt though. We don't know how serious that is yet.

Roster limit expires with the trade deadline so he would have to stay with the team for the remainder of the season. He couldn't be sent to the AHL even if he cleared waivers.

Santorelli did score 20 goals and 41 points for Florida 2 seasons ago with Florida, but since then has done nothing. Low risk move, so I am ok with it but PLEASE Chevy, add someone who we're pretty sure can help us in an area of NEED. Santorelli is likely just another passenger.

A forward now likely has to move, no?

3 points and a -7? Yes please!

Chevy can sure pick them, what a hockey man!

First criteria: always pick up players from team below you in the standings

second criteria: make sure they have no offensive ability

At ta boy Chevy, stay away from making any real trades like the big boys do!

Didn't even have to read it Sip.
Saw the last post was from you and knew the content.
You're nothing if not consistent.
