2-1 win over a team we should have dominated is better than a loss by any score in a game that last season I am sure we would have pissed away.

I'll say it up front: f**k Vegas. We're the captain of the Western Conference now.
That win puts us cleanly in the #2 spot league-wide for wins, too. This team WINS.

That was a gritty win. January hasn't been too much easier than December was. 4 in 6 is done, and now 5 in 9 to go. Busy busy busy. Just slow down, grinding hockey by both teams. Wasn't a big fan of the 4th line being stuck out there with 5+4 for extended periods.

Good 1st... blagh everything else.

Kuhlman is a problem. I can't believe I miss Appleton. We should never have made that waiver claim, I'd rather have any one of Harkins or Eyssimont over him.

Bad game by the 4th line, the penalties were unacceptable. You'd think Gagner draws back in next game.

Dillon had one of the most unaware plays, with 1:05 to go and the Jets firmly controlling the puck and Vejmelka being unable to get out for the extra man, he just chips it into the Yotes zone and gives them posession allowing them to get 6 skaters, why? I do that in NHL 21 to get an EN goal.

Good game by the Scheifele line.

Mixed bag by the Dubois line, they generate a lot of offense but have a tendency to get hemmed in, Dubois was also responsible for the Yotes best chance which hit the post.

A bit of a letdown game after Pittsburgh esp considering Yotes were on the 2nd of a back to back.

Personally I thought Dubois had a great game. Had a goal, hit another post, irritated the hell out of their D. He really shines when the going gets bumpy.

pretty meh game overall, but first place in the west, don't think anyone would have predicted we'd be there in mid january

Jets limited higher percentage plays in their own end versus a team that struggles with goal scoring. The yotoes system vapour locks you but I felt this was an important win at an important time before they hit the road. This team is legit.
