Suzuki has the far more impressive skillset. Kotkaniemi obviously has the frame to bring a different element to the table if he ever matures from baby giraffe to filled out human being hockey player. But Suzuki's skill level, vision, and hockey sense still put him ahead for me. I've just never really been blown away by Kotkaniemi in that regard. He's always looked to me like a developmental middle-6 center.
