Last night. Every team has blank jerseys with numbers on them in case of an emergency (all that you need to do is slap on a nameplate and you're ready to go), so basically we learned that 43 was one of the spare Coyotes numbers that they take with them.

Plotnikov has worn 61 or 16 basically everywhere he's ever played, so it makes sense that he'd switch when he had the chance.
