So Iwanyk was talking about how Woodcroft is just interim, but I never did really hear anything that he was interim. Thought he was the new head coach in a permanent role.

Can anyone confirm one way or another?

His contract ends at the end of the season. Who knows what Holland will do

As @Shaquille Oatmeal stated his contract runs to the end of the season so technically he is the interim coach.

Of course based on early returns it’s very likely he gets extended but we’ll see closer to the end of the season.

So far all of his numbers are better than Dave's. They are playing the right way. I swear I can see this organization not keep him and try to bring in a known coach. I would have to hand in my Oilers card if they do that.
Watch them lowball him only to see him go somewhere else for a bit more money.

If the org did that OR didn't solve the goalie issue before the start of next season I'd completely lose interest.

Makes no sense to worry about something that may not happen. If we hear about the org moving on from Woodcroft then that would be the time to be upset.

Jeebers the team looks visually better 5v5 with Woodcroft but like when it's broken down like this it just makes you cringe at how bad Tippett was.
