Like so many National Hockey League players, former Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll did not get to retire on his own terms. But unlike many former NHL players, retirement, although somewhat suddenly thrust upon him, did not take him by surprise. Good for him. I know it wasn't the best end to his tenure here as a player, but he really was a culture changer.
